Job Description
Step into a leadership role during the absence of the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Sous Chef, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and overall team coordination
Lead by example through a passion for authentic cooking techniques and sourcing local, high-quality produce to create bold, flavour-driven dishes that elevate the guest experience
Enforce strict food safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring all storage, handling, and preparation procedures comply with legal and internal standards
Support cost management by monitoring stock requisitions and purchasing, ensuring quality ingredients are available as needed while staying within budget
Lead the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining exceptional quality and consistency while strictly following recipes and upholding high culinary standards
Qualifications
You will have:
At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a large-scale, 5-star hotel setting, with a strong track record of leadership and team support
A passion for guiding and developing junior chefs, with a genuine commitment to nurturing talent and growing future leaders in hospitality
The confidence and skill to thrive in a high-pressure production kitchen, delivering excellence across both buffet and à la carte services
The ability to operate confidently across all areas of the kitchen including functions, pastry, hot section, saucier, entremets, and larder
A creative, detail-focused mindset, always seeking ways to enhance guest experiences and push culinary boundaries
