We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic technology team.
This is a hybrid role based in Kharadi, Pune, offering a blend of remote and in-office work.
AWS Cloud Management
• Administer and maintain our AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, IAM, RDS, and other relevant services.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within the AWS environment.
Kubernetes Management
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including node management, networking, and storage.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes environments.
• Troubleshoot issues within Kubernetes clusters and deployed applications.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Integrate various development and testing tools into the CI/CD process.
• Automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the efficiency and reliability of the CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Document cloud infrastructure, configurations, and decisions.
Skills
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in managing and administering AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Strong understanding and practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
• Relevant certifications and training in AWS and/or Kubernetes.
