Senior Developer

Location negotiable across TAFE NSW (depending on campus availability)

Temporary full-time opportunity until May 2026

$135,320 package includes salary ($119,757 - $132,188), employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

This position, as agile team members, deliver web based solutions with modern technologies and are responsible for working closely with the business, project teams to ensure sufficient development resources are available and effectively applied to application development projects, and that development practices, standards and techniques are understood and adhered to.

About You

To be successful for this position, the candidate will need:

Degree qualification in related field or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
Experience developing web applications using PHP and SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of the following desirable Student Management and Learning Management Systems:
REST Based Web Services, Web Frameworks such as Angular, Unit Testing Tools (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions platform within an Educational Domain at Enterprise Level - in at least one or preferably all of the following: Campus Community, Student Records, Academic Advisement, Curriculum Management, Student Financials, Campus Self-Service, Enrolments, Reporting etc.)
Experience as a mid - Senior Integration Developer up to Architect level
A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
Highly Regarded

Significant PeopleSoft Campus Solution Development experience in at least one or preferably all of the following PeopleSoft Campus Solution modules: Campus Community, Student Records, Academic Advisement, Curriculum Management, Student Financials, Campus Self-Service, Enrolments, Reporting etc.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Features, People Tools & PUM updates
