Job Title: Senior Embedded (Android) Developer

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in developing applications and frameworks for embedded systems running Linux/Android/RTOS development (iOS experience a plus).
• Network Communications Technology: Solid understanding of network communications technology – Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, etc.
• Device Level Driver Development: Knowledge on device level driver development. Experience with OS.
• OTA Solutions and Remote Applications: Experience with developing OTA solutions and remote applications preferred.
• Programming Languages and SDKs: Solid knowledge of Java and Kotlin, and the Android SDK.
• Embedded/NDK Android Development: Experience in embedded/NDK Android development a plus.
• Object-Oriented Design and Programming: Strong experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Integration and Web Services: Experience with integration to REST APIs, messaging systems (MQTT) and other web services.
