About the Opportunity

As the Senior Employee Relations Advisor you will provide high quality, professional, accurate and responsive advice to stakeholders on a range of relevant People & Culture matters, ensuring P&C practices comply with legislative requirements, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Employee Relations team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

Provide advice and guidance to people leaders and employees on workplace relations matters, including relevant industrial instruments, applicable employment related legislation and internal policies.
Coach and support people leaders on the end-to-end management of ER/IR matters involving performance management, absence management, grievances, conduct and behaviour to build capability and ensure managers are informed and supported to lead effectively
Establish and continue to establish a benchmark standard for best practice workplace investigations/mediations.
Conduct and/or support people leaders, People & Culture Business Partners, and Advisors to conduct workplace investigations/mediations fairly and consistently.
Actively maintain knowledge of relevant industrial instruments, policies and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant application
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:

Relevant qualification in HR or related discipline
Experience with the Fair Work Commission will be well regarded
3+ years’ experience in a HR advisory position
Proven capability in end-to-end management of ER matters
Experienced in interpreting and providing advice across polices & industrial instruments, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
