About Archa:

Archa is a FinTech startup providing corporate cards and expense management software to help businesses track expenses in real time. We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our infrastructure efforts and contribute to backend development projects, driving operational efficiency and scaling our platform.



Position Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be the subject matter expert (SME) for infrastructure and DevOps practices, while also contributing to backend development. You’ll manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and optimize system performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements.



Responsibilities:

Design and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP, AWS or Azure).
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
Implement Docker and containerized deployments.
Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance issues using tools like Datadog and Prometheus.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to solve operational challenges.
Contribute to backend development, particularly in Python/Django (preferred).


Required Skills & Experience:

Programming: Strong in any modern language, Python/Django preferred.
DevOps & Infrastructure: Experience with Terraform and IaC.
Cloud: Familiar with GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
Containers: Understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
Monitoring: Exposure to Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
Soft Skills: Strong communicator, problem solver, and team player with a growth mindset.
