Our focus is on offering services to our clients in contaminated site investigations, soil and water testing, asbestos investigations, acid sulfate soils and site assessments throughout WA. We work with private landowners, commercial & industrial businesses, property, resources and government sectors to find practical and cost-effective solutions to environmental projects.

About the role:
As part of our growth and to service our projects in hand, we are seeking a Contaminated Land Consultant with experience to enhance the businesses capabilities. This role provides an opportunity to work directly with the business owner and gain valuable industry experience, during a growth phase of the business.
The role will be full time and will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to expand their experience and responsibilities in contaminated sites and related investigations, including asbestos investigations.
The role would suit someone with 5+ years’ experience or 3-5 years’ experience with the right attitude and qualifications. An opportunity exists to further your involvement in all phases of delivering environmental projects and being a key component of the company through mentoring and business development.
Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of consulting, including proposal and bid preparation, hands-on field programs, engaging with our clients, coordinating field personnel, report writing and assisting with the successful delivery of projects.

The ability to manage and coordinate technical assessments.

Partner and build relationships with clients, subcontractors, regulators and contract partners.

Have a positive, proactive attitude to tackle a wide variety of projects.

3-5+ years of environmental experience.
Demonstrable technical report writing and data management skills.
Ability to operate independently within the field, both in metropolitan locations and remotely with potential for extended remote field work.
Experience in, or desire to lead scientists and pass on your contaminated sites knowledge.
Full legal working rights in Australia and a C class License.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science or a related field.
The role will encompass report writing, field work, data management and critical analysis. The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude towards problem solving.
It is expected that you can confidently write technical reports and make on-the-spot decisions. Training and support will be provided, with an aim to expand your experiences and responsibilities.
The following are highly desirable for potential applicants:
Ability to work with contractors and other specialist disciplines to provide pragmatic solutions.
Proven project management, technical and report writing skills.

We are a work-from home company. You will be provided with the resources to work from home confidently and productively. We have a variety of projects in metropolitan Perth, the Pilbara and the south-west of WA. You will be expected to work outside of Perth (generally in regional WA) from time to time, although typically not on roster work. Our project work outside the Perth area typically lasts for between a day and a week, with occasional longer-term projects.
