Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior ETL Developer in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior ETL Developer will be proficient with data processes and integration to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Essential responsibilities include: participate in the development and documentation of applications to extract, transform, and load data (ETL); develop queries and ETL that is consistent and integrated with existing ETL processes; create and implement automated processes to control data access, transformation, and movement; ensure source system data availability and update accessibility, data integrity, restart ability, and error handling; develop processes using ETL tools to implement logical and physical dataflow models according to functional requirements and mapping designs; code, test, and implement ETL mappings and scripts to build and maintain automated ETL processes; support and lead clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze and resolve technical problems related to system functions and procedures; oversee basic and advanced transformation activities such as normalization, cleansing, aggregation, summarization, and integration; and identify and manage interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Senior ETL Developer, Lead Developer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: the design and development of applications to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data; Data Warehousing Applications; Informatica; Power Center, including Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Warehouse Designer, Source Analyzer, Transformation Developer, Mapplet Designer, Mapping Designer, Repository Manager, and Informatica Server; Power Exchange; Main Frame; XML; Flat Files; Oracle; SQL Server; DB2; Unix; Autosys; TWS; and Crontab.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $127,060 - $140,100.
