Job Description
The Corporate Sales and Business Development Manager for Events is responsible for driving sales and expanding our business within the corporate sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate event sector.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
· Collaborate with the event management team to ensure client needs are met.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
· Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients.
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
· Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate sales and business development, preferably in the event management industry.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Excellent relationship-building abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of event management and planning processes.
· Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
