Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in planning and executing high-profile meetings that align with our society's mission to advance the science and application of cancer immunotherapy
The meetings manager is responsible for supporting the educational initiatives of the association by successfully planning and implementing regional programs and other events
This includes overseeing all logistical aspects of meetings, including preparing Request for Proposals (RFP) and managing site selection, working with meeting venues and vendors to ensure successful completion
Program Development: Develop and implement program plans, including coordinating with the Education team or appropriate staff for distribution of meeting-related broadcast emails
Registration and Housing: Coordinate and implement all aspects of registration, including database setup, form processing, payment collection, and reporting, as well as managing housing block development and reporting
Event Execution: Oversee event execution, including managing onsite meeting logistics and operations, troubleshooting and handling any issues that arise on event day(s)
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to provide support and coordination for meetings and other events

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; CMP preferred; minimum 2-4 years event planning experience.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven track record working in a metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize work and problem-solve while managing multiple projects.
