Job Description
• The primary responsibility of this role is to manage General Accounting process by undergoing product/process /systems training and perform the operations activities.
• The job also includes report out financial information in an accurate and timely manner. Follow-up with lines of business at client-end for closure of accounting open items.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts
• Exposure to following areas will be preferred in General Accounting:Accrual & prepared Journal EntriesFixed Assets managementAccount Reconciliation (P&L and Balance sheet accounts)Preparation of Reports (Budget Vs Actual, Cost of Sales, Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet)GL Payroll accountingHandling audit related activities
• The job also includes preparation of SOP and providing coaching and mentoring of the associates attending the training apart from periodic reporting of all the above to the Operations owner /Training leader.
• Must be proficient in period/year end closing and various reporting and audit requirements.
• Good knowledge of Oracle and ensure that all targets are met accordance with SLA and internal standards
