The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting Team. This role is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive knowledge in Accounting and financial control and financial reporting tools
Problem solving, drive for results and decision quality
Strong focus on process improvement
Strong excel skills
Great communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Liaising with various areas of the business, both local and international
Preparation of timely and accurate month end Balance Sheet reconciliations
Experience in End-of-Year financial statement preparation
Experience/Qualifications
6+ years Accounting experience
Accounting/Finance degree
CA/CPA qualified
Experience in a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm coupled with experience across a large commercial business preferable
