Description Supporting the Regional Offices within the Hub with setting up, managing, and reporting on their Credit Control and reporting back to Group Finance with progress and any challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to Directors and Group Finance on all aspects of Credit Control for all Regional Offices within your Hub.
• Identifying offices which require most assistance and focussing on assisting them whilst ensuring collection for other offices does not suffer as a result.
• Attending meetings with Senior Directors to report on and support Regional Offices who are failing to meet targets.
• Regular meetings with Regional Offices to identify problem areas and provide support and assistance.
• Ensuring all Regional Offices hit collection targets.
• Sending out statements according to a pre-set time frame.
• Setting up and monitoring automated email chasing and then chasing by telephone.
• Forwarding client queries to relevant team members and following up to ensure they respond promptly.
• Managing a team of Credit Controllers to include weekly updates on targets, bi-weekly team meetings to keep them updated and encourage team discussion, ensuring they have clear instructions and guidance and training on all aspects of their own roles.
Key Requirements
• 5 years minimum Credit Control experience.
• Strong Microsoft skills including Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem solving and ability to identify and communicate possible improvements to all areas of the process.
• Knowledge of Xero (ideal not essential).
