We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Officer to join our supply chain management company located in Kochi, Piravom, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in managing key HR functions including payroll, onboarding, employee management, and grievance handling. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth and efficient HR operation, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the company’s growth.

Salary:
• Lower Range (5-6 years of experience): ₹6 LPA to ₹8 LPA
• Mid-Range (6-7 years of experience): ₹8 LPA to ₹10 LPA
• Upper Range (7-8 years of experience): ₹10 LPA to ₹12 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll Management:
• Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
• Maintain payroll records, including bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related queries or issues from employees.
• Onboarding & Offboarding:
• Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, documentation, and introduction to company policies.
• Facilitate smooth offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final settlements.
• Continuously improve onboarding practices to enhance the new hire experience.
• Employee Management:
• Maintain up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job descriptions, and performance reviews.
• Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring employees are informed and compliant.
• Support department heads in performance management, including appraisals, feedback sessions, and development plans.
• Grievance Handling:
• Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, providing guidance and support to resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
• HR Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Prepare and present HR reports to management, including turnover rates, payroll costs, and employee satisfaction metrics.
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, recommending improvements to current processes.
• Training & Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
• Support leadership in creating and implementing career development plans.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to improve employee skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll, onboarding, employee management, and grievance handling.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and local labor laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the supply chain management industry.
• Advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
• Experience with employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics.
