Role: Manager / Senior Manager- Human Resources (ER & IR)
Job Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
The position will be responsible for handling the activities related to field issues in HR, IR, ER, and legal areas at pan India level. They will work closely with the Line Manager and Divisional Head to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the field force areas. They should have a strong understanding and experience in the areas of labour laws, statutory compliance, New Labour Codes, liaising with labour and government authorities, and expertise in union handling. In addition, they should be experienced in managing legal cases from conciliation through to the respective courts.
Job Responsibilities:
• Execute HR/ER strategies that are aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues that arise in the field
• Effectively and efficiently, manage industrial relations in the field, with experience handling external stakeholders / police station/ advocates etc
• Support current and future business needs through strategic field development, employee engagement, and motivation.
• Experience in conducting review meetings with Managers and Medical Representatives is essential.
• Experience in handling field-related ER/IR issues, providing support to managers, and having fieldwork experience is a valuable asset.
• Experience in conducting domestic inquiries and handling disciplinary proceedings for field employees.
• Regularly review legal cases and ensure proactive coordination with the respective advocates.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws across India and have hands-on experience managing dashboard compliance.
• NAPS procedures, including issue resolution, reimbursement claims, and coordination with NAPS authorities.
• Develop and oversee HR/ER strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the field to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Report / MIS to management and provide decision support through HR Metrics
• Field ER / IR Experience and aware about criminal proceedings
• Plant experience is desirable
Qualification, Experience and Skill Sets:
• Work Experience 12- 16 years core experience in the above mentioned profile.
• Master's Degree in Human Resources / MSW from a reputed institution. LLB essential.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Hands on experience w.r.to proceedings related to Labour Office, PF and ESIC Authorities.
• Good experience in dealing matters related to Strikes/protest and Industrial Disputes.
• Understanding of compliance w.r.to Contract Labour Management.
• Good command over labour laws especially S&E Act, Factory Act, CLRA Act, ESIC Act, EPF Act, S&E Act, Bonus etc.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Negotiation and Stakeholder Management Skills
• Should have good knowledge of ER/ IR process
