Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are a close-knit team of engineers responsible for managing and maintaining a vast infrastructure.

This infrastructure supports over 1500 crew members and enables the delivery of world-leading visual effects. Our team oversees thousands of servers, petabytes of network storage, a diverse network setup, and complex security requirements.

The architecture built by our infrastructure team is crucial to supporting our crew and the films we work on. We are always on call to ensure our systems remain operational, allowing us to meet deadlines and provide an exceptional experience for our crew.

Key Responsibilities
As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you will be working in a DevOps environment with strong hands-on experience. Your expertise should include scripting and automation, as well as configuration management using tools like Puppet or similar.

You will perform both day-to-day support and project work to sustain and improve our large, cross-platform infrastructure. Required skills include:

Configuration management using Puppet or similar.
Infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar.
Using git to deploy code and collaborate with colleagues.
CI/CD such as Gitlab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins or similar.
Desirable Skills
In addition to the required skills, desired experience includes:

Experience with Ubuntu or Debian-based operating systems.
Experience administering document stores such as Elasticsearch.
Experience administering RDBMS systems such as Postgres or MySQL.
Knowledge of endpoint management applications and processes (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, SALT, Chef, Jamf).
Knowledge of infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages (including Ruby, PowerShell, C-like, Perl).
Administering clients via MDM.
OSX administration.
VMware and other virtual environments.
AWS deployment and operations.
Kubernetes and other container environments.
Knowledge of additional VCS systems (e.g., Perforce).
General system administration applications and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SystemImager, Foreman, F5, firewalls, monitoring, and metrics).
