The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to join our Interior Design Team in Brisbane. This role will bring fresh ideas into projects, contribute to our collaborative approach to design, and benefit from a supportive environment that fosters growth as a designer.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you'll lead design development, ensure documentation accuracy, and oversee site visits to align construction with design intent. The role includes project management tasks such as design reviews, quality control, and fee tracking, while also promoting the studio through client relationships and industry networking.

The role will report to the Studio Director.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead design development processes and translate them into detailed documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
Manage relationships with clients and suppliers.
Prepare mood boards, material selections, and FF&E schedules.
Attend site visits and assist with project coordination and administration.
Contribute to Studio 103’s creative culture and design excellence, and support business development initiatives.
About You:

Minimum 8 years’ experience in interior design, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Enscape and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of best practice, building codes, NCC and Australian Standards.
Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and autonomously, and work across multiple projects.
