Summary of Role:

The Sr. Key Accounts Manager reports directly to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”)/Managing Director and serves as the key member for the CEO and the overall organization representing the Site.
• She/He shall be the POC for entire external customer management and would liaison with internal teams on driving customer business partnership.
• This role would be responsible for driving sales of Mapaex portfolio with different customers.
• Develop Strategic plans for the Mapaex brands in line with business and sales objectives.
• Creation of strategic joint business plans with management and implement specific category growth initiatives.

Customer Management:
• Develop and manage sales strategy for each of the designated account customers.
• Develop strategy for acquiring new customers and propose business solutions beneficial for both, Mapaex, and customer in meeting business objectives.

Negotiation:
• Negotiating Contract manufacturing terms as and when required, Developing strategy for execution of developments.
• Own, Plan and Execute overall category investments for the customer.

Customer Business Planning:
• Lead and execute Joint Business Planning together with the customer in line with both organization & customer objectives.
• Generate insights for customer/channel to drive assortment, pricing opportunities etc.
• Preparing volume forecasts & plans.
• Deliver and exceed on growth, revenue, and market share objectives

Project Management of Strategic Initiatives:
• Take leadership positions in areas of key importance ensuring flawless project execution (e.g., New Project launches, product launches, strategic assessments, business development)
• Drive facilitation and execution of priorities through meetings, work planning, and follow-up across all functions to ensure success for the company.
• Identify synergies and interdependencies across functions to ensure optimal working models with a view on the holistic benefit and growth of the company.
• Provide oversight and guidance to organizational planning and implementation activities to increase coordination and efficiencies across functions.
• Support individual functions as appropriate.
• Help the organization to grow and advance the future of Mapaex Group, balancing both long-term strategic vision and operational execution support
• Understand all facets of the business, including the overall strategy, financial performance, future growth objectives, and key priorities for each and every functional area
• Monitor progress towards company objectives to ensure the organization exceeds its performance targets
• Identify and analyze gaps or problem areas
• Facilitate decision-making that drives efficiency across the company

Skills and Education:
• BTech, BCom, Bachelor of Science or Arts; MBA and/or Professional Advanced Degree (MD, Ph.D., MA, etc.) strongly preferred
• Strong drive for success along with strong analytical (i.e., Excel, modelling) skills and experience in developing interpersonal relationships
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills (i.e., PowerPoint, Word)
• Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results and seek creative solutions in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Outstanding Key Account Management skills and Customer Relationship Management.
• Self-starter with the ability to successfully navigate situations with a varying degree of ambiguity
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to operate as part of a global company, with frequent collaboration with overseas counterparts.
• Ability to assess risks and benefits to make timely, sound decisions with various levels of information and accept responsibility for meeting and/ or exceeding objectives
• Ability to rapidly turn around work product – experience working under pressure on the executive level
• Ability to easily dispatch administrative priorities while simultaneously focusing on driving key business priorities forward

Other Relevant Information:
• Ability to travel within country or to foreign locations as required.
• The Job location shall be at our manufacturing site in Johannesburg, South Africa
