We simplify the booking process and ensure seamless experiences for both artists and clients.Salary: Best in the IndustryLocation : Andheri West, MumbaiJob Description:Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales and Business Development individual to join our team in the live events and live entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing effective sales strategies. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the live events sector, strong networking skills, and a passion for entertainment.1. Sales & Business Growth: Identify and acquire new clients; B2B and B2C - including corporate clients, event agencies, wedding planners, hotels, cafes and nightlife venues. Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability2. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for live events and entertainment services. Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Create and present compelling proposals tailored to clients' needs, including event planning, talent booking, venue coordination. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.3. Client Relationship Management: Understand client requirements, goals, and challenges, offering creative solutions to meet their needs. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event life cycle, ensuring smooth communication and the successful delivery of services. Regularly follow up with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.4. Business Development & Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships with event management companies, corporate houses, and hospitality brands. Develop partnerships with brands for sponsorship and collaboration opportunities. Explore new revenue streams such as festival tie-ups, corporate activation, and private event bookings5. Market Research & Networking: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and stay up to date with industry developments. Utilize a variety of channels, including social media, cold calling, and email marketing, to build a solid pipeline of prospects6. Event Coordination, Event and Artist Management: Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, marketing, and creative departments, to ensure the seamless execution of events. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors, sponsors, and other industry professionals to enhance event offerings. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners to maximize profitability. Source and onboard artists suitable for different event categories, understand client event requirements and curate customized artist recommendations. Coordinate with the artist management team: artist logistics, ensuring smooth execution of performances, oversee event operations related to artist performances and resolve any last-minute issue7. Marketing & Promotion Support: Coordinate with the marketing team: to create event-specific campaigns and promotions, leverage social media and digital marketing to boost visibility and attract clients. Represent Live 101 at industry networking events, exhibitions, and trade showsCandidate Requirements:1. Experience: 5-7 years in sales, business development, artist management - in the live entertainment/events industry2. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentable, strong negotiation skills, good at networking & relationship-building skills3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the live entertainment, events andartist booking ecosystem4. Networking: Established connections in the event management and entertainment industry5. Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close deals, manage client expectations, and drive revenue6. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital platforms for sales and marketing7. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, drive results and achieve targets8. Problem-Solving: Ability to handle event-related challenges and ensure smooth execution+.
