Location: London
Salary / Rate of pay: Up to £50,000 p.a.
Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular hotel in the Westminster area of London and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior MICE Sales Manager to join their team on an initial 6 months contract

£45,000 p.a. to £50,000 p.a. (pro-rata)

Our client are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to join other thriving team. The role will be focusing primarily on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) as well as group sales. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional client experiences within the hospitality or events industry.
What's involved?
As a Senior MICE Sales Manager your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for MICE and group segments.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients, event planners, and corporate accounts.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
• Lead site inspections, client meetings, and presentations to secure new business.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous MICE Sales Management experience, who is able to demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a competitive market, whilst provide outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills. A strong network of industry contacts within the MICE segment is highly desirable.
Please be advised this role requires someone immediate, for an initial 6 months cover but there is the possibility for it to lead to more permanent. Also, only applicants please who have the relevant UK sales in hospitality will be accepted and have the right to work.
