As a National Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in growing our business by managing and expanding key accounts across the country. You will be responsible for presenting tailored solutions to our dedicated client base, driving sales revenue through solution-based selling, and ensuring the health of client relationships. Your expertise in
proactive customer engagement, market intelligence, and presenting complex solutions will be essential in securing long-term partnerships and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Selling: Leverage your expertise to present and sell our data solutions and services, tailoring each approach to the specific needs of our clients.
Client Relationship Management: Own and nurture your client accounts, ensuring customer success, retention, and satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client needs and concerns.
Transaction Volume & Revenue: Drive transaction volume and achieve sales revenue targets by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
Presentations & Ownership: Lead client presentations, owning the entire presentation process from preparation to execution. Demonstrate clear, concise, and impactful communication.
Customer & Solution Retention: Ensure the ongoing success and retention of client solutions by continuously providing value, addressing challenges, and ensuring that solutions align with client goals.
Voice of the Customer: Serve as the “Voice of the Customer,” advocating for their needs and collaborating closely with internal teams to improve service offerings and client experience.
Team Engagement & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions and the ongoing success of client partnerships.
Skills & Knowledge
Thorough understanding of the Canadian residential mortgage industry, including but not limited to: Mortgage Brokers, Schedule A banks, Mortgage Broker Lenders, Credit Unions and Mortgage Investment Corporations
A proven track record in Proactive Business Development and Client Relationship Management Customer-focused, strong leadership skills, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages
8+ years relevant business experience selling to or working in the financial services sector
Thrives in a dynamic team-oriented environment with the ability to work independently
Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Strong influence and collaboration skills are required to effectively align resources both internally and externally to achieve client success.
Solid business acumen and demonstrated cross-industry strategic thinking capacity.
