Location: Winsford

Salary: 42,667 per annum

Working hours: 35 hours per week

About The Role As a Senior Nurse Practitioner

You'll ensure that their services empower the people they support to take control of their own lives, showcasing this impact through clear, evidence-based results.

Your Main Responsibilities As a Senior Nurse Practitioner
• Support the manager in developing a person-centered team that adheres to our client's care standards.
• Inspire and motivate staff by demonstrating positive energy and enthusiasm.
• Manage and supervise staff according to our client's policies, using a performance framework to ensure high standards of care and take action when necessary.
• Provide hands-on support, take responsibility in the manager's absence, and maintain a small caseload to demonstrate best practices.
• Mentor and coach staff in delivering clinical interventions and collaborate with Clinical Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, and other stakeholders.
• Act as a Named Nurse during shortages and coordinate monthly service user reviews.
• Engage with families and partners to achieve optimal outcomes for service users.
• Promote professional development and teamwork within their multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act 1+83 and exceed regulatory standards, including infection control.
• Foster a vibrant community life and ensure care reflects the lived experience of service users.
• Assist the manager in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing resources effectively, and compiling necessary reports.
• Support the manager in financial and resource management, adhering to our client's policies, and promote a best-value approach.

Essential Qualifications And Experience As a Senior Nurse Practitioner
• Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD)
• Hold a Qualification in Psychosocial Interventions in mental health and be willing to work towards degree level.
• At Least 2 Years Post Registration experience
• Experiences of managing resources responsibly and effectively
• Recent experience of working with people with enduring mental health problems or learning disabilities
• Evidence of maintaining PREP

Essential Knowledge and attributes required as a Senior Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to demonstrate values that are consistent with our client's vision, mission and values.
• Ability to achieve best outcomes for individuals and teams to demonstrate compassion and passion to make a difference in vulnerable people's lives
• Knowledge of all relevant legislation and ability to apply it in practice. ( In particular MHA 1+83 and CQC regulatory framework, Health and Safety.)
• Knowledge and clinical expertise of current best practice in relation to people with specialist dementia
• Ability to manage and lead teams of staff
• Ability to lead on implementation of clinical guidelines and DOH strategies relevant to post
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
