Are you ready to make a real difference to the lives of children and adolescents facing acute mental health challenges? Join our dynamic and innovative Safeguards Team, a dedicated CAMHS resource delivering cutting-edge care to young people aged 0-17 years. Based at the vibrant hub of Kogarah, you'll work across the local catchment area, collaborating with existing CAMHS and youth mental health teams.

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and registration with AHPRA and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
Extensive post graduate clinical experience in occupational therapy and mental health, with demonstrated experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, young people and their families in a systemic way
Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, education and support to others in providing service excellence.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
Demonstrated active participation in developing, implementing, and reporting on services.
Current drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the position.
