Senior PHP Developer (Laravel Focus)

Arocom is seeking two highly skilled and motivated Senior PHP Developers to join our dynamic web development and support team.

You'll play a crucial role in application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and researching and implementing cutting-edge technologies. If you're passionate about building robust web applications and staying ahead of the curve, we want to hear from you!


Primary Responsibilities:

Application Development: Design, plan, and develop high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
Technology Research & Development: Research emerging technologies and create proof-of-concept applications within the LAMP environment.
Standards & Documentation: Identify, research, and establish development standards, creating comprehensive documentation.
Knowledge Sharing & Training: Conduct demos and provide training to staff on new technologies and standards.
Onboarding & Configuration: Complete onboarding tasks, including documentation review and environment setup.
Must be wiling to provide client overlap between +:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET (6:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST)

Required Experience & Skills:

PHP Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
Laravel Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
Custom Software Development: 5+ years of experience in custom software development.
HTTP & REST: Thorough understanding of the HTTP lifecycle and RESTful web services.
SDLC: In-depth knowledge of the enterprise application software development life cycle.
Database Knowledge: Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Version Control: Proficient with Git.
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills & Qualifications (Strong Plus ):

Front-End Development: Experience with Vue.js or Angular UI development.
Client-Facing Skills: Consulting skills, including team building, flexibility, and client interaction.
Agile Development: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Continuous Learning: A strong curiosity about client business needs and a passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies.
Analysis & Design: Ability to demonstrate strong skills in analysis, design, implementation, and the development process.
