A Little More About Your Role…
PMCM is our new project, cost and commercial management discipline that provides a range of project related services across multiple market sectors including buildings, transportation, energy and defence.
Reporting to the PMCM Buildings Group Director, the successful candidate will lead Project Management and set the direction for WSP’s PMCM activities in the Data Centre sector and will be the driving force on business development and project delivery.
The new appointee will use his or her own network to identify future opportunities, lead the client development and business growth capability, assist in the formulation of winning bids, and be closely involved in developing relationships with key clients. He or she will also be expected to take a lead role in delivering work and help establish and grow a PMCM Data Centre Project Management team that is industry recognised. As growth is firmly on the agenda, the individual will lead the development and implementation of the 3-year PMCM Data Centre Growth Strategy.
Responsibilities Include
Provide visible leadership in safety, health, and wellbeing, committed to a zero-harm culture;
Lead development, ongoing co-ordination and updates of 3-year Data Centre PMCM strategy.
Lead and champion PMCM Data Centre related Key Account Management
Lead PMCM Data Centre related Business Development - internal and Client facing.
Lead Strategic level bids and lead the initial phase of delivery.
Develop and lead the delivery of the full range of PMCM Services in the Data Centre Sector (Project Management, Cost Management and Project Controls) working in conjunction with PMCM service leads.
Skills / Experience
The ability to work closely with WSP colleagues and clients at a senior level.
Demonstrable PMCM Data Centre sector knowledge and experience at senior level and with a senior network.
Proven Key client management skills – able to develop/maintain excellent client relationships ensuring repeat business and continually improved client satisfaction.
The ability to think strategically and lead the development of strategy.
The ability to identify and develop business opportunities from initial discussions through to bid submissions and bid win.
The ability to demonstrate the ability to network and grow relationships in a complex organisation both internally and externally.
An understanding of all the services WSP can offer, and proactively integrate these for the best client delivery.

Strong organisational skills – can effectively manage several projects concurrently, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
The ability to deal with conflicting priorities and to offer positive solutions.
