Personal Injury Intake Specialist
Full-Time Position
We are seeking a Compassionate, Personable, and Professional Personal Injury Intake Specialist with high integrity to join our team. As the first point of contact with potential clients, you will play a critical role in establishing rapport, demonstrating empathy, and providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for collecting, investigating, and evaluating preliminary case information, while working closely with all departments within the firm to ensure smooth case processing.
In this role, you will engage clients in areas such as car accidents, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), catastrophic injury, slip and fall accidents, and product liability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake interviews (in-person and by phone) to assess case viability.
• Gather essential case information (e.g., police reports, witness details).
• Establish rapport with clients, demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and a high standard of integrity.
• Guide clients through the intake process with empathy, respect, and care.
• Demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills, including the ability to articulate professional responses, active listening, and de-escalating difficult calls while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Evaluate leads and close cases within a timeframe determined by the firm.
• Determine whether to set appointments, make referrals, or provide alternative information.
• Meet or exceed intake-related targets (e.g., call handling, metrics).
• Possible travel to meet clients in-person.
• Collaborate with all departments within the firm to ensure efficient case handling.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of related experience (PERSONAL INJURY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST)
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close leads effectively and professionally.
• Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and demonstrate high integrity in all interactions.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent client service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a full-service commercial litigation firm with decades of experience serving a broad spectrum of clients --- from Fortune 500s to entertainment companies, contractors, architects, engineers, and more --- in their search for an experienced eDiscovery Paralegal. This is a contract-to-hire role with a permanent salary upon conversion between $110,000-$125,000/year. This is a hybrid opportunity with one (1) day per week on-site at the firm's office in Brentwood, and four (4) days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead all phases of eDiscovery for complex litigation matters
+ Organize, review, and analyze large volumes of electronic data
+ Execute document review and production in Relativity
+ Collaborate with attorneys and clients to ensure best eDiscovery practices
+ Support all stages of the EDRM lifecycle (preservation, collection, review, production)
