• Experience with AWS Cloud Services like Lambda function, any RDS Database (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
• 3 years of SQL Server or related database administration experience
• Development experience in any technology (C#, Java, Python)

Objectives of this role:
• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for large-scale distributed software applications.

Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
• Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
• Monitor and verify production environment is efficiently processing (e.g., web server processing queues, portal is up and running) and potential issues.
• Manage Production alerts and take necessary action as per the playbook and SOP
• Production readiness (e.g., Production deployment readiness checklist)
• Work with ticketing tools and SLA governed environment.
• Hands-on experience working with fixes at the product level, including installing and upgrading software.
• Record, track, and document the problem-solving process all the way through to the final resolution.
• Use logical reasoning to analyze a situation and make use of available debug utilities.
• Troubleshoot and reproduce customer issues in the local environment. Collect logs and reproduce for developers if needed.
• Work with all internal groups, including support, engineering, product Owner and Management.
• Identify potential product/process weakness, research potential fixes with relevant internal teams and management.
• Expect to spend approximately 60% of time troubleshooting customer issues. In addition, you will also handle other duties that commensurate with your role and the company needs.
• Develop FAQ and Knowledge Base articles to aid in problem resolution.

Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline
• Total 2 - 4 years of experience in Technical Product Support with proven work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
• Collaborate and communicate asynchronously.
• Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services like Lambda function, any RDS Database (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
• Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) tools such as Azure Devops
• Basic RDBMS, Any database installation and configuration knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong analytical/QA mindset

Preferred skills and qualifications:
• Previous success in technical engineering
• Coding experience beyond simple scripts. use tools to automate the deployments and infrastructure performance monitoring.
• 3 years of SQL Server or related database administration experience
• Development experience in any technology (C#, Java, Python)
• Support experience in any Infrastructure or Database monitoring Software solution
