Role Description
The Senior Java Developer will bring in the experience, knowledge and skills to deliver projects, product roadmaps, and strategic initiatives that contribute to Contiem’s growth plans in the Publishing industry. This is a critical and a key role that increases product development capability by setting higher standards, mentoring, and collaboration across geographical boundaries.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience
• Proven self-development initiatives like relevant certifications, courses, conferences
• Proven in-depth experience of tools and frameworks such as Git, JIRA / Rally and Maven
• Experience in developing REST web services
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Core Java, Java EE
• Basic XML
• Knowledge on Data structures, Design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills
Desired Technical Skills:
• Typescript
• CSS
• XQuery
• XSD
• Linux
• Knowledge or work experience in Messaging systems like MQ, JMS.
• Experience with Content Management Systems
Reporting:
This position reports to the Head of Technology
Work Hours:
This is a full-time, on-site, exempt position with hours of operation from Monday to Friday, between +:00 am to 6 pm.
