About The Job

As creators of the Eggplant suite of test applications, we empower organizations to create amazing digital experiences. You will play an integral role in delivering new functionality and improvements for our flagship desktop application (Eggplant Functional).

About The Team

Our engineering product teams work in a highly collaborative and iterative environment utilizing agile methodologies. We occasionally have meetups to have some fun and enjoy each other’s company.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop features for cross-platform desktop applications using Objective-C, C, C++, Golang, Python, etc.
• Optimize application performance and reduce memory usage.

Qualifications
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field or demonstrable equivalent industry experience.
• 6+ years of experience using object-oriented programming for commercial software development, with a strong focus on C-based languages.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with development on multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Desired Skills
• Proficiency with C build systems and tooling such as CMake or Make.
• In-depth understanding of how C-based compilers work, including the compilation process, linking, and runtime behavior.
• Knowledge of build orchestration, debugging, and profiling tools.
• Experience working with Agile in Scrum.
• Test automation experience.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
