Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Software Engineer at QuID. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to back-end web development, software development, and programming. The role involves implementing and maintaining software systems, coding, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable software systems

- Implement back-end services and APIs using Node.js

- Develop front-end components using React and Next.js

- Work with AWS services such as S3, ECS, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB

- Utilise PostgreSQL for database management

- Design and implement distributed systems and event-driven architectures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

- 2-4 years of experience in software development

- Strong knowledge of back-end web development and programming using Node.js

- Proficiency in front-end development using React and Next.js

- Experience with AWS services including S3, ECS, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and distributed systems

- Knowledge of event-driven systems and streaming services like Kinesis or Kafka is a plus

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent coding and software development abilities

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Prior experience in the FinTech industry is a plus
