The Senior Software Engineer for HemoCue is responsible for HemoCue’s digital solutions which includes mobile, desktop and cloud applications. This position is part of the HemoCue’s R&D team at Danaher India Development Center (IDC) in Bangalore and will be hybrid. You will be a part of the software team and report to the Engineering Manager & Site Lead responsible for HemoCue’ s digital solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS Cloud. Automate and standardize infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring scalability and reliability. Configure and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines, enabling rapid and consistent software releases. Build monitoring systems to monitor application and infrastructure health and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally & globally) to ensure product releases meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability, responsiveness of applications and schedule goals. Create and maintain technical documentation. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in software engineering or Masters in Computer Applications or equivalent. 3-6 years of proven experience with DevOps background. Hands-on experience on AWS and its services including VPC, EC2, IAM, API Gateway, Athena, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Cognito etc. Hands-on experience in at least one of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity or AWS CodePipeline and ability to configure and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines. Proficiency in scripting languages(eg: Shell, Python etc) and writing and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies. Knowledge in Linux administration like creating users, services, patching, upgrades, installing and monitoring applications etc. Knowledge of AWS networking concepts like creating VPC, subnetting, routing etc and database administration on AWS including RDS, DynamoDB, or Aurora. Ability to deliver in high-performance, results-oriented and time-bound environment. Fluent in verbal and written English. It would be a plus if you also possess: Good understanding of user management using AWS Cognito, Authorization, Tokens, SSL and SSH Certificates etc. Good understanding of AWS Serverless architecture. Good understanding of AWS security best practices, identity and access management (IAM) and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
