Job description
Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack Engineer- Java
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business who have pivoted very successfully into a SaaS provider, in the online gaming area. Working with the biggest clients across both the UK and USA they are continuing expansion and development of new software products.
Joining the existing software engineering team, working in squads you will be involved in building out new software applications as well as re-engineering legacy application in a microservices architecture. Although the main focus is on Java backend there is a need to have a commercial understanding and appreciation for front end development too. As such you will need:
• Expertise in core Java development
• Spring Boot
• Commercial Javascript experience
• Some React or Angular experience
• Any NoSQL DB exposure would be beneficial
• Microservices architecture
• TDD
• Agile – Scrum
