Senior Software Engineer in Test

We are hiring for QA team,

Basic Qualification & Requirement

● BS/MS or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related work Experience.

● 4+ years of strong individual contributor experience as a software engineer in test.

● Strong working experience in Manual Testing.

● Should have a very strong hold on Functional testing- Regression, Smoke, Integration, exploratory and E2E

● Working experience on Database and SQL queries.

● Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman / SOPUI /similar.

● Experienced in Testing the Web and Mobile applications (Android).

● Strong analysis skills and ability to understand the complex financial/lending concepts with technical peers.

● Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills.

● Knowledge of automation testing.

● Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, unit testing (JUnit/TestNG/BDD).

● Knowledge in automation test script development and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

● Managing/leading a small team of 3-4 QA resources would be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Understand the product requirement document and project details.

● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

● Design, develop and execute the test cases.

● Own and maintain the quality of large features/products.

● Active involvement in analyzing bugs, reporting, and documentation.

● Actively involved in maintaining the quality of products.

● Working closely with the product team to understand the new feature requirement.

● Communicate within the team and across the teams for any challenges faced.

● Participate in daily sync-up/update meetings.

● Perform thorough regression testing and sign off the product releases.

● Work closely with multiple scrum teams to drive the QA activities.

● Mentor junior QA Engineers

Good to have:

● Hands-on experience in JAVA programming language.

● Evaluate the scope and develop the automation test scripts.

● Ability to analyze automation test execution results, finding the root cause, and maintaining the automation suite/test scripts
