Are you an experienced software engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking exceptional talent to join our remote-first team as independent contractors. You will work on production web applications for our enterprise clients, leveraging modern AI-powered development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain production-grade web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Tailwind CSS
• Architect secure, modular systems with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Deploy and optimize applications on Microsoft Azure, implementing cost-effective auto-scaling solutions
• Design efficient PostgreSQL database schemas and ensure data integrity
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
• Apply security best practices (OWASP) to protect against common vulnerabilities
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and web development
• Experience working on at least one production system serving actual users
• Understanding of the difference between academic code and enterprise software
• Ability to debug production issues and make pragmatic trade-offs
• Commitment to writing secure code by default
