Position: Senior Software Engineer
Reports to: Software Engineering Manager
Functions
Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the organization
Coordinating and managing software engineering and development teams globally
Responsible for ensuring that design requirements are met and overseeing the consistency of user experiences across all products
Implementing best practice engineering and product development practices
Ability to demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts
Strong background in agile methodologies and ability to tech amp; mentor others in their use and application of agile
Ability to assess and improve code quality while teaching and mentoring team about best practices
Manage and oversee all product software releases
Responsible for defining, setting goals, scoping tasks and setting deadlines for all development projects
Direct, evaluate and confirm any product design and changes
Ability to work with clients and technology experts in regard to security and architecture questions
Skills And Competencies
7+ years of experience engineering or software development position with some team lead experience preferred
Previous working experience in software design and developing customer oriented platforms and preferably SaaS companies
Experience working with global team, having a very good understanding of global customers behavior, business model and market trends preferred
Strong Coding Development Skills .net Framework, Angular
BS/ BA or advanced Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Must have experience working with good software development team in India
Prior Management Experience Would Be Nice, But Not Required
Open to having a developer with good communication skills, who wants to grow into management and lead our development team
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
Time Commitment
35% time spent on writing and developing quality code
25% time spent on managing and working with the development teams offshore including code reviews quality
255% time spent working with product managers to understand the requirements + goals for each product
15% time spent on overall IT network security goals and vision
Location:Malad West, Mumbai
