Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SQL Server Database Administrator with over 8 years of experience to lead our database management efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in SQL Server administration and will bring expertise in other database systems such as MySQL and Postgre

SQL.

As a Senior SQL Server DBA, you will not only manage and optimize SQL Server databases but also demonstrate a broad understanding of ETL processes, reporting systems like SSRS, and emerging cloud technologies like Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
Responsibilities:

Lead the management and maintenance of SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.

Implement and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Administer other database platforms, including MySQL and Postgre

SQL, with a strong focus on best practices.

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and other reporting tools.

Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to design and implement efficient database structures, queries, and stored procedures.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs, fostering a culture of
continuous learning
.

Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices, applying
innovative solutions
to enhance system efficiency.

Implement and maintain security measures across multiple database systems, including access controls and encryption.

Participate in capacity planning, database backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

Leverage cloud database platforms like Snowflake and Azure Synapse for scalable and efficient data management.

Required Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in SQL Server administration, including SQL Server 2012 and later versions.

Strong knowledge of MySQL and Postgre

SQL database administration.

Experience with
ETL processes and tools for data integration.

Proficiency in SSRS and other reporting tools.

Familiarity with cloud databases such as Snowflake and Azure Synapse.

Advanced SQL query tuning and
optimization
skills.

Database security expertise, including authentication, access controls, and encryption.

Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery concepts.

Proficiency in scripting languages (T-SQL, Power Shell) for automation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Minimum of 8 years of
hands-on experience
as an SQL Server Database Administrator.

Strong analytical and
