Senior Staff Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient health and progress, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the Indian Nursing Council or relevant state nursing council.
• Minimum of 2-8 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in areas such as critical care, pediatrics, or maternal health.
• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and family interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
