About the Job

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Structural Engineer with 3-6 years of experience, proficient in both traditional hand calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis. While knowledge of the maritime/offshore sector is a plus, it’s not mandatory. You will:
• Perform detailed structural calculations using software like Staad, ANSYS, Dlubal RFEM, FEMAP, and SACS.
• Collaborate with steel engineers and CAD technicians on a variety of projects, ensuring innovative and efficient designs that meet client specifications.
• Optimize designs by carefully analyzing results and identifying key design drivers.
• Conduct Quality Assurance of computer models, calculations, and project documentation to ensure high standards are met.

What you bring:
• A degree in Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in the analysis of steel structures.
• Familiarity with design standards, such as Eurocodes and DNV.
• Proven ability to apply structural engineering principles through hand calculations, sketches, and an understanding of the fabrication/construction process.
• Experience reviewing 3D CAD and structural models.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to going the extra mile.
• Mandatory expertise in steel structures, including knowledge of material grades, welding symbols/details, profiles, and standards.
• Experience in reviewing and approving fabrication drawings.
