What you need to know...

Permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
the package: $58,0+7 - $6+,281 plus superannuation, per annum
location - Grafton or Maclean (to be negotiated)
+ day fortnight
access to fitness passport
About the role

Are you passionate about helping to protect and restore our productive and natural areas in the Clarence? Council is looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our Biosecurity team. The control of weeds through our high risk pathways and properties across the LGA is a challenging and rewarding task, and this role will keep your work life interesting. The Clarence Valley contains a broad range of natural landscapes that we need to protect. In this role you will be involved in the control of a wide range of weed species, engaging with landholders while working cooperatively with a dedicated team of Biosecurity staff in Council. We offer a good work/life balance, and STRIVE ‘to make the Clarence Valley a community full of opportunity’.

This position is located at Council's Grafton or Maclean Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
