We are looking for a talented SEO & Website Copywriter who will work closely with the E-commerce Manager. You’ll be responsible for creating website content with SEO best practices in mind, optimizing the site for better search rankings, and ensuring a smooth user experience. This contract runs until 15 December 2024, with the possibility of extension based on the role’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO-Optimized Content: Write high-quality, SEO-friendly website copy that drives traffic and improves organic search rankings.
SEO Implementation: Perform SEO audits and ensure on-page optimization, including keyword integration, meta descriptions, alt tags, and internal linking.
Shogun Page Building: Create and update website pages in Shogun for Shopify, focusing on user experience, SEO, and overall functionality.
Digital Content Creation: Write engaging digital content for marketing campaigns, such as blog posts, product descriptions, email newsletters, and other promotional materials.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on SEO performance, making data-driven improvements to enhance visibility and site traffic.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in SEO strategy and website copywriting.
Expertise in on-page SEO, with a demonstrated ability to optimize content effectively.
Hands-on experience with Shopify and Shogun page-building.
Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity, brand alignment, and SEO optimization.
A results-driven approach, with strong analytical skills to track SEO performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with the in-house team.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
Experience working within e-commerce, preferably in the retail or apparel sector.
Understanding of technical SEO aspects such as site speed, mobile optimization, and structured data.
