SEO Editor
Are you passionate about language, SEO, and leading high-performing content teams? We’re on the lookout for an experienced SEO Editor to take charge of our remote editorial operation. This is your chance to combine creative storytelling with technical precision, managing content from concept to publish while ensuring it’s both engaging and optimized for search. As SEO Editor, you’ll be the quality gatekeeper, performance analyst, and team motivator all in one. You’ll collaborate across departments, refine editorial standards, and help us build content that not only informs but outranks the competition.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Proofread, polish, and optimize content for grammar, clarity, tone, and SEO effectiveness.
Assign content topics, manage editorial calendars, and track deadlines to keep production on pace.
Coordinate across marketing, legal, and creative teams to align content with brand voice and compliance.
Analyze the performance of published content and translate data into actionable insights.
Build and update clear, concise content briefs that guide writers and meet legal standards.
Lead and support a fully remote team of writers with clear direction and editorial feedback.
Stay on top of the latest SEO techniques, industry updates, and algorithm changes.
Handle administrative tasks including reporting, invoice tracking, and contributor coordination.
What You Should Bring:
Excellent editing, proofreading, and writing skills with a laser focus on detail.
Strong project management abilities with a knack for juggling priorities and timelines.
Experience working with or leading distributed teams in a content-focused environment.
A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Familiarity with SEO tools and keyword research platforms (like SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
Working knowledge of HTML and on-page SEO best practices.
Hands-on experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Language Requirements:
Fluent/native English required.
Spanish or French language skills are a plus but not necessary.
Why Apply?
This isn’t just another editing role, it’s your opportunity to lead the kind of content operation that moves the needle. You’ll have the freedom to innovate, the tools to succeed, and a team that’s passionate about pushing boundaries in digital storytelling.
Apply now if you're ready to create content that performs, leads that inspire, and strategies that grow
