Responsibilities
Developing and implementing SEO strategies:

You will be responsible for creating and executing effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase visibility in search engines. This involves conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
On-page and off-page optimization:

You will optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility. Additionally, you will oversee link building activities, outreach campaigns, and manage relationships with external partners to acquire high-quality backlinks.
Technical SEO:

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues that could impact website performance in search engines. This includes ensuring proper website indexing, optimizing site speed, improving mobile-friendliness, implementing structured data markup, and resolving crawl errors.
Content strategy and optimization:

You will work closely with content creators to develop an effective content strategy that aligns with SEO goals. This involves optimizing content for target keywords, improving readability and user experience, and ensuring content meets SEO best practices.
Monitoring and reporting:

You will track and analyze key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and backlink profiles. Regular reporting and analysis of data will help identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Staying updated with industry trends: SEO is an ever-evolving field, and it's crucial to stay updated with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

You will research and implement new strategies, tools, and techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
Collaboration and communication:
As an SEO Manager, you will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, content, development, and design, to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into all aspects of website development and online campaigns. Effective communication skills are essential for explaining SEO concepts and influencing stakeholders.
Monitoring competitors:

You will keep a close eye on competitors' SEO activities, keywords, and strategies to identify opportunities and adjust your own strategies accordingly.
SEO audits and recommendations:
Conducting regular website audits to identify areas of improvement, technical issues, and opportunities for optimization.

You will provide recommendations and implement changes to enhance website performance and search engine visibility.

Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, computer science, or a related field is often preferred. While not always a strict requirement, a relevant degree can provide a solid foundation in marketing principles and digital strategies.
SEO expertise:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices are essential. You should be well-versed in on-page optimization, off-page optimization, keyword research, technical SEO, content optimization, link building, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Experience:

Typically, employers look for candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing roles. This experience should include planning and executing successful SEO campaigns, managing organic search strategies, and delivering measurable results.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in using SEO tools and platforms is crucial. You should have hands-on experience with tools like Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and keyword research tools. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development is also beneficial, as it helps in understanding and implementing technical SEO recommendations.
Analytical mindset:
