Position: Complex SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Redbridge
Employer: GSL Education
Position Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3.30 PM, Monday to Friday
About The Role
As a Complex SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in east London. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to students with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), adapting strategies and interventions to meet their individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
