The Server is responsible for understanding, discussing and educating members and guests on all menu items, while also presenting an approachable and elevated experience by following Cattlemen’s Service Standards. A Server’s attention to detail and menu knowledge is crucial to anticipating needs and ensuring guest satisfaction. A Server collaborates with other team members and completes pre-service and post-service duties while accurately entering orders into POS. They maintain a positive attitude, are detail oriented, process driven and flexible while working under pressure, to ensure seamless communication is maintained through the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH).

Responsibilities

- Represent Cattlemen’s Private Club core values of passion, kindness, hospitality, and excellence.

- Maintain professional relationships with all peers and management.

- Complete checklists on all trained service standards and processes.

- Positively influence member experience by elevating the dining experience with food and drink pairing suggestions and highlighting specials to drive sales.

- Maintain communication and advise management and Executive Chef on any allergies or potential red flags encountered throughout the night to mitigate any forecasted risk.

- Adhere to health and safety policies as well as all company policies, procedures, standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable.

- Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products as well as determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.

- Ensure proper coursing of fully plated menu items before serving to members and guests.

- Assist support staff when possible, with expo, service bar tickets, cleaning and table maintenance.

- Clean and stock all server stations prior to service and at checkout.

- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Must be 21+ years of age.

- 2+ years’ minimum experience as a Server in an elevated dining environment.

- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

- Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments with quick and effective problem solving under pressure.

- POS knowledge, TOAST preferred.

- Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service.

- Respectful towards colleagues and members.

- Ability to multitask, take direction and work in a team environment autonomously.

- TABC & Food Handlers certification required.

- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time with constant flexing, reaching, turning and performing precision work.

- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
