Location - Mumbai

Role Description

The Client Services Operations Analyst is accountable for daily enquiries on behalf of the bank's clients. Service can be provided to vendors and external clients, or internal clients such as Credit Risk, Front Office (client-facing professionals), Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk.
The queries are diverse and can encompass many areas within the bank. Queries are in scope with day to day transactions and conform to the bank's policies and procedures. The Client Services Operations Analyst is responsible for managing relationships with clearing vendors by providing constructive feedback to enhance the user's experience, while maintaining consistency with the bank's values. In addition, by anticipating and supporting external client's needs, take ownership and offer professional assistance. The Client Services Operations Analyst co-ordinates discussions between various internal departments by utilising gained industry knowledge for better resolutions while mitigating risk. They provide guidance on aspects such as regulatory, operational and technical support to the bank's internal and external clients. They are proficient in their ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions regarding products, asset control, cost analysis and superior client service.

Your key responsibilities
• Respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Facilitate client directed transactions incl. wires, research requests and assist with account maintenance.
• Prepare customized reports / summaries as needed
• Organize and maintain files, correspondence and records in accordance with policy
• Perform account opening for clients
• Assist Product Teams (e.g. Discretionary Portfolio Management - DPM) in managing and servicing their client's transaction and account opening needs.
• Adhering to all regulatory policies and operating procedures; responsible for ensuring proper documentation is on file for all wire requests and following High Risk Media (HRM) policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Private Bank product offerings (e.g. DPM, Custody, Trust etc.)

• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, deadline driven environment
• Adherence to regulatory policies, guidelines and processes to deliver outstanding quality of work
• A Post-graduate degree in Finance, Business or Economics with prior experience in Wealth Management, both banking and brokerage
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, initiative driven and proactive approach, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to deal with different personalities and always keep a professional outlook
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a timely fashion
• Ability to assess issues, evaluate risks, and suggest corrective actions
• Leadership skills with the capacity to take initiative, as well as assume responsibility
• Detail oriented, while able to understand and focus on the key points
• Escalate and highlight issues with excellent decision making skills
• Confidence in liaising across business lines, front office and different time zones incl. offshore
• Well motivated and enthusiastic team player, able to work with others in a fast paced, independent, and dynamic financial environment
