UON is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Service Mechanic to join our local Energy team in Kalgoorlie as below:
flexible roster 5:2, 8:6, 2:2, 2:1, 3:1 - (Kalgoorlie Residential)

Skills & Experience:
Must live locally in Kalgoorlie - (NOT a FIFO job)
Must have a trade certificate (HV, LV, HD - Mechanical trade cert ) with Skills in mechanical fitting/engine maintenance
Experience working with diesel engines and Cummins
Experience with power generators
Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience as a Fixed Mechanical Maintainer
A minimum of 2 years experience on Mine Sites, performing service on mobile equipment and driving to field service.
Pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & ******* screen
Hold a current and valid WA manual C drive licence (preferable HR licence
Clear Police clearance

Your main responsibilities will include:
Field Service & Site support where required.
Manage workshop rental process.
Yard & asset organisation.
Predictive and reactive service, maintenance, and repair of a Power Generation equipment and other UON products as required
Undertake planned and ADHOC inspections on the condition of UON products as required
Trouble shooting and provide professional advice as required
Technical client liaison at various stages of Jobs
Assembly of equipment sold or owned by UON, including pumps and power generation equipment.
Installation and commissioning of UON products in workshop/Yard.
Provide a high level of verbal and written communications to clients
Mechanically modifying equipment sold by UON to meet customer specifications.
Adherence to All company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HR, QA, HSE and other relevant systems
