Position Overview: The SEZ Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regulations for Mobis. The role involves overseeing monthly SEZ processes, facilitating the transition between SEZ premises, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations in line with SEZ requirements. Work should be carried out at our client who is an MNC located in Hyderabad. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit Monthly and Annual Performance Reports to SEZ authorities. • Review procurement, services, and employee policies to ensure SEZ compliance. • Coordinate with Finance, IT, HR, and Admin teams to gather and report necessary data on SEZ portal. • Collate export revenue details and file Service Exports Report Form (SERF). • Handle SOFTEX form filings, IGST exemption filings for goods and services, and maintain registers as per SEZ regulations. • Assist in managing inventory, obsolete goods, inter-unit transfers, and imports/exports. • Handle permissions for sub-contracting, duty calculations, and de-bonding processes. • Liaise with Customs and SEZ authorities for obtaining approvals and clearances. • Support the transition of assets and operations between SEZ premises. • Prepare necessary documentation for exemptions and ensure smooth transfer of goods between SEZ units. • Coordinate with relevant authorities to obtain approvals for movements and ensure compliance with SEZ regulations. • Represent the company before SEZ authorities and provide assistance during on-site inspections. • Draft responses to SEZ notices and requirements. • Maintain audit trails and readiness for regulatory audits. Skills & Qualifications: • Any Graduate(B.com, BBA,etc.) • In-depth knowledge of SEZ regulations and compliance requirements. • Experience in coordinating with multiple departments for regulatory reporting. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage inventory and asset movement between SEZ units. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with SEZ and customs authorities.
