Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver/ Order Picker to join the warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all products are accurately handled and processed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment. These are full-time permanent positions, direct hire with the company, not through an agency.
Responsibilities
Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity.
Load and unload products from trucks and containers using forklifts, Raymond reach, walkie, crown reach, and other counterbalance.
Receive the product and enter it into the system.
Maintain organized inventory records within the warehouse management system, good computer skills are an asset.
Fulfill orders accurately by picking items from inventory based on order specifications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse distribution processes.
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment in the warehouse.
Skills
Proficient in basic math for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
Strong ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and shipping tasks.
Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
Must have previous receiving and shipping experience. Minimum 3 years
Must have 3 years of previous order picking experience.
Must have 3 years of forklift experience, Raymond Reach, Walkie, Crown Reach and counterbalance.
Must have a valid forklift certificate.
The following shifts are available:
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 8:00am until 5:00pm and working 2 Saturdays per month 7:00am to 1:00pm.
$22.00- $25.00/hr to start depending on experience, plus benefits.
Remember, these are full-time permanent positions, direct hire with the company not through an agency.
We are looking for applicants to have a minimum of 3 years of Order Picking/ Shipping / Receiving experience. Must have a valid forklift licence with Raymond Reach, Walkie, Crown Reach and Counterbalance with 3 years of forklift experience.
