As a Logistics Coordinator, you are able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with ease. Responsibilities

Schedule, assign, and dispatch driver for delivery, pickup, or disposal

Validate material/equipment and order picklist availability

Ensure warehouse is organized to support receiving, storing, and shipments of product

Maintain manhours per logistic vehicles and equipment for payroll allocation

Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess products/equipment/tools and arrange for disposal or sale

Loading inventory and equipment on trucks for delivery to job-sites

Lead and provide year end physical inventory count

Provide information regarding inventory levels in the warehouse

Monitor fuel consumption of each vehicle or equipment

Ensure material/equipment/tools have been processed and recorded prior to leaving warehouse

Assist in audits for equipment/tools

Monitor material/equipment/tool returns

Stock materials in the yard and warehouse

Ensure tasks conducted by drivers and yard men are completed with Health & Safety at the forefront of all activities

Provide service and support to other departments

Process material purchase orders in system

Coordinate rental of equipment

Verify the delivery of materials entering the warehouse and matching the PO

Learn about roofing materials

Perform other duties as required

All other duties assigned

Qualifications and Experience

2+ years experience in shipping and receiving

Driver's license

Forklift license

Ability to identify issues and participate in resolution of issues with standardization, cost reductions, and analyzing processes and procedures

Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate daily routines in the organization and processes for product receiving, storing and shipment

Construction experience is an asset

Strong computer skills, efficiency in all MS Office applications

Ability to lift up yo 75 lbs

Able to work in all weather conditions
