Shuttle Bus Driver - Camp Position

Golden Arrow Industrial Division is seeking experienced Shuttle Bus Drivers for a camp-based position in Fort McMurray, AB. This role involves transporting Oilfield crews from pick-up points to assigned destinations. When not driving, drivers are expected to be on standby to ensure readiness for transportation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport crews to and from designated locations.
- Maintain a high level of readiness and be on standby when not driving.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the bus.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a School bus or truck.
- Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license.
- Clean driving record. No more than 3 demerit points.
- Experience driving in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must pass a drug and fitness test.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s road safety regulations for large vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a camp environment.
- First Aid /Common Safety Orientation/WHMIS certifications.
- Knowledge of Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.60-$30.+1 per hour
